I have been searching Patents and Designs since 1995 and have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering with Honours from Coventry University. During my studies I spent a year in Germany working for Volkswagen AG at their Wolfsburg headquarters and studying at the Fachhochschule in Wolfsburg/Wolfenbuettel. I search mainly Mechanical and Electrical Patents, but also search Industrial Designs. I have experience of many Patent and Design databases. I also visit the British Library, which is less than an hour from my base in West London to search Non-Patent Literature.





I regularly travel to the British Library to search Non-Patent literature. The British Library has a collection of over 20,000 scientific, technical and medical journals. It also has over 100 databases for searching journals and other types of literature. The British library catalogue has access to the 13 million items in the library's collections.
